Registered Counsellor Squamish

Let’s Face It – Life Gets Messy. You Don’t Have to Handle It Alone.

Hi, I’m Jazz

Like a lot of Aussies, I first landed in Whistler over ten years ago chasing the mountain life. It was fun, but deep down, I knew I wanted something more meaningful. Fast forward a few years — I made Squamish my home and built a career doing what I love most: supporting people through their toughest times through professional counselling services.

I’ve spent years working in crisis services, trauma support, and relationship counselling across the Sea to Sky Corridor. Now, through Coast Mountain Counselling, I help individuals and couples find their footing again — whether you're healing from trauma, dealing with anxiety and stress, navigating relationship challenges, or facing major life transitions.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

I’m not here to judge, "fix," or hand you cookie-cutter advice. I’m here to listen, understand, and help you build tools that actually make a difference.

When you sit across from me — in-person in Squamish or through online counselling — you can expect real talk, real strategies, and a whole lot of heart. You’ll feel safe, supported, and like you’re actually getting somewhere.

What I Help With

  • Trauma Counselling — Support for sexual assault, narcissistic abuse, and crisis recovery

  • Anxiety & Stress Management — Handling overwhelm, building emotional resilience

  • Relationship Counselling — Conflict resolution, communication, rebuilding trust

  • Life Transitions Therapy — Divorce, loss, career changes, identity shifts

  • Online Therapy — Private, flexible counselling for Squamish, and beyond

My Approach

I blend evidence-based tools (like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy) with a trauma-informed, person-centered counselling approach. I also weave in body-focused talk therapy, mindfulness, and self-compassion practices to help you reconnect with yourself in a real way.

Bottom line? Therapy with me feels like a conversation — but it’s a conversation that could change your life.

If You're Thinking "Maybe I Should Reach Out..." — Do It.

Getting support doesn’t make you weak. It makes you smart.

If you’re ready to start feeling more like yourself again — or even figure out who that real you is — I’m ready when you are.

  • Sessions available in Squamish

  • Online counselling available throughout British Columbia

Let's get you moving forward. One step at a time.
